  2. When you’re happy you could feel at home with us, become a Creator.

  3. Set up your profile and connect your Stripe account.

  4. Create your first offer!

  5. Share the link on your website, with your email list and on your socials to let people sign up. They’ll need to create a free account on The Portal to access it.

  6. Continue to build out your profile of offers from there. Our Creator subscription allows unlimited creation and hosting of offers - the options are limitless!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Portal is.

    The Portal is integrated with Stripe Connect as the marketplace facilitator and deemed supplier.

    This means all transactions go through The Portal platform before being transferred to your connected Stripe account.

    If a refund is to be issued, The Portal must action it and will reverse any related transactions into your account.

  • You need to connect a Stripe business account with The Portal to charge for offers.

  • No, The Portal does not have email marketing functionality.

    When someone signs up to your offer, we email you the details for you to copy onto your list following GDPR guidance (more information on this is available in our Creator Resources).

  • Yes!

    Creating and hosting with us gives you access to a ready made audience and community to tap into.

    That being said, like with anywhere else, we cannot guarantee sales and we fully encourage you to become a visible participant in the culture of The Portal, especially in our own early stages of growth.

  • Not at all.

    You have your own public facing profile page you can send people straight to and each offer has its own unique url to share with your community.

    We notice that the Creators that grow their offers most successfully on the platform are those who engage in other people’s work in some way.

  • We really don’t see similar offers being a problem. People will find and connect with your work for who you are and the lens you bring - just like they would on social media or the wider web.

  • The Portal is completely free to sign up to and experience which means anything marked as ‘free’ by Creators is then accessible.

    They can then pay for any offers that are charged for and that money goes straight to you, minus the Stripe fees.

  • Our tool allows you to create and share offers for a one off payment or as a rolling monthly subscription.

    We also have the options of tiered pricing for both of these - a solidarity rate, a full and a supporting.

The Portal is completely free to sign up to with lots of free offerings from our Creators, as well as paid offers. Our community is free to join too.
